Penn Castle

Next to the church within walking village of Whitelodge lies the ruins of the ancestral home of William Penn, founder of the state of Pennsylvania.

Historical tours of Ballycotton/Shanagarry and the nearby medieval village of Cloyne are also available through Whitelodge B&B. Package prices available on request.

Garryvoe Hotel

An extremely popular wedding venue, with blue flag beach, a fine hotel and restaurant and music at weekends. 1 mile from the B&B.

There are numerous spots for angling locally.

Other local visitor attractions include the Jameson Whiskey Heritage Centre in Midleton, Fota Wildlife Park and Gardens, the cliff top walks at Ballycotton and 10 golf courses.
