Ballycotton Sea Adventures
Ballycotton Sea Adventures run boat trips and charters around Ballycotton Bay and the surrounding magnificent coastline. From exhilarating fun rides around Ballycotton Island, to a guided tour of the majestic Ballycotton lighthouse, to fishing for mackerel or zipping around the corner to Cork city for lunch or dinner, Ballycotton Sea Adventures offers something for everyone. Season runs from April until October each year.
Next to the church within walking village of Whitelodge lies the ruins of the ancestral home of William Penn, founder of the state of Pennsylvania.
Historical tours of Ballycotton/Shanagarry and the nearby medieval village of Cloyne are also available through Whitelodge B&B. Package prices available on request.
An extremely popular wedding venue, with blue flag beach, a fine hotel and restaurant and music at weekends. 1 mile from the B&B.
Day trips to Cobh, Kinsale, Lismore, Waterford, Cork City, Clonakilty are all very feasible from Whitelodge. We are happy to advise and suggest itineraries over a drink on the terrace.
There are numerous spots for angling locally.
